As New Heights Church, we want to congratulate you on making the best decision that you will ever make! Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” Heaven is celebrating over the decision that you just made! Our goal is to give you three quick action steps now that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ.

The first step as a new Christian is to begin reading the Bible every day. At New Heights Church, we believe that the Bible is God’s word and our ultimate authority. If you want to see what it means to have a relationship with God, then look to the Bible. If you do not have a Bible, please find a volunteer or a pastor. They would be happy to get you a bible free of charge. We also recommend that you find a bible reading plan that you can read every day. The best bible plan is one that you will read! You can find great options online or by downloading the YouVersion Bible App.

The second step is to get plugged into a church. If you are interested in learning more about New Heights Church, we encourage you to sign up for our new attender’s class called “Growth Track.” Growth Track is a great way for you to meet new people and learn more about our church. We would love for you to find a home here at New Heights, but it is most important that you find a bible believing church where you will grow in your faith.

The last step is to tell someone about your decision to make Jesus the Lord of your life! Pastor Eugene Peterson sums up the Christian life when he says, “It is a long obedience in the same direction.” You are now on the journey!
