Kids Ministry at New Heights Church

At New Heights Church, our kids (infant through Kindergarten) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

We would love to see you and your family visit New Heights Church.

Your first visit

Here's what to expect when visiting New Heights Church for the first time:

First, head down to our New Heights Family Center, located on the lower level. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)
  • Child's name
  • Child's birthdate
  • Home address
  • Phone number
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

How check-in works

Before Service: You can check-in your child at any available kiosk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to our Family Center and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will text and/or call you. We will also put your child’s identification code on the screen. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.

Mothers Comfort Room

New Heights Church offers childcare during service for infants. But we also have a Mothers Comfort Room that is available for mothers with infants. This room is reserved exclusively for parents with infants to enjoy the service in a more private and quiet environment.

Fathers are not allowed in this room, as this room is designated for nursing mothers.

Meet our Early Childhood Director

Elizabeth was born and raised in Ohio. When she started attending New Heights Church as a teenager it very quickly felt like home to her. This church family and community has always had a special place in her heart, and in her life. She served under the youth pastors here as a student intern and then as a leader. She has felt a calling to ministry and working with children since a young age.

Elizabeth loves working with children and for nearly 5 years she worked in a Christian pre-school center. While working there she gained valuable experience working with children from infants to 3rd grade. Children quickly make their way into your heart. It makes her so happy to be working with children again and see their smiling faces every Sunday!

She is passionate about teaching little ones about God, how much Jesus loves them, and having a lot of fun along the way!
